Last poll before the polls

Got an email from Rasmussen with the last of their polls on the NC race. They have McCain up one, ubt note that the number is statistically insignificant.
One interesting set of numbers that should have us all skeptical of the exit polls.

Eighty-six percent (86%) of North Carolina voters are extremely interested in the presidential election, and 44% say they are very likely to participate in an exit poll.

For exit poll watchers, however, it is worth noting that while 55% of potential Obama voters are very likely to take an exit poll, just 35% of those who plan to vote for McCain agree.

My guess is that we’ll know early on about the senate and governor races, but may have to wait up a bit for the presidential numbers to fully shake out. Probably some council of state races and legislative in that boat as well.
